Go with what you have – that’s my motto. It’s silly, but every one thinks they have to start over when they enter online marketing.

The following is a good example from the class. The very first evening I met a lady from back east who had previously been trying to zero in on her area of interest. I asked her what she used to do.

She used to sell in the business world. We informed her to try and do 1 of 2 things. The very first thing is to compose a free report

“The 7 Sales Secrets I Learned While Selling In a Cutthroat Corporate Environment”, and after that use that to develop an email list, and also to publicize affiliate products and programs to.
Or, do this. I questioned her “do you already know any really, excellent sales people that you are buddies with?” She explained of course!

So I shared with her to give them a call and interview them, after that put together that into a merchandise. The fantastic thing about this method is no investigation, no building resources, nothing! The  lady could actually get the report completed in a day for the reason that she’s producing from knowledge she already has..

This lady could possibly bang the calls out speedily. No learning curve.I had been repeating this together with all of us I came in contact with. They assumed I was a expert. But I recognize a strategy – everyone has some type of set of skills that many people would most likely pay moolah for.

So utilize that!Let me personally offer a few examples own life. Generally If I simply had to start from scratch once more, precisely what niche might I enter?

Well, I am a big chess nerd. I own about 18 chess books and I pay a yearly fee to be part of an online chess club. I’ve played a few grandmasters before at this chess club. Here’s what I know about grandmasters – they’re broke, and would do just about anything to try to sell some lessons or books.

It wouldn’t be hard for me to interview 20 or 30 grandmasters, and compile that into a product. Not hard at all. Or, I could go in the music niche. I ran a record label for years. Along the way I learned how to book college gigs that pay up to $2,000 a show.

I know other musicians would die for this info. I could write this report up in two hours and immediately begin to market it. Or, I am a very good cook. When I was a monk, a big part of my worship was preparing meals for the deity. You don’t want to prepare anything less than the best!

So I understand a few really great different methods to make foods promptly and make them taste tasty! I could create a quick video product of that, and connect it into an affiliate program.

What else could I do? I can do pretty good graphic design. I can build websites. I know how to use a complicated music production system that I could create a course for.
I am a pretty good public speaker. And on and on and on.

Go with what you have. This will cut the learning curve down dramatically. It will cut research done dramatically. I know where all the popular chess sites already are. I now where all the musicians hang out online. I know exactly where to start to get my stuff out there as soon as possible. Learning marketing is hard enough. Don’t make it harder by learning everything from scratch.
